I have a 1997 Toyota Tacoma 2.4L 4 Cyl. I Normally Start the truck up but here recently the truck has been dying while running. my aunt just did a tune up about maybe 2 years ago. I was wondering if anyone can give me advice on what it might be. Need to get this fixed asap.

Man I hate to know what you call last week.

I would change the fuel filter, make sure there is gas in it too.

    Welcome to the forum.

It seems to only quit when i press the gas and then let off of the gas to let it idle. this just recently started happening

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
With the engine idling tap lightly the MAF sensor with the handle of a screwdriver; if the idle fluctuates the MAF is bad.

Under the intake manifold mounted to the side of the engine. It's a real bitch to get to...
