That reading is about what I expected. Sounds like you tested it correctly. Another possible cause ruled out.

Alright that's good but also bad bc now I'm even more confused, with how many codes I'm getting and how it happened instantly should I just bite the bullet and buy a new ecm? I could take it to Toyota but they want 215 just to look at it and diagnose it and I was told an ecm from Toyota was 570 without tax and 1 hour shop labor because apparently undoing a 10mm and unplugging it in 10 mins equals 1 hour. I would probably spend diagnosing and getting it fixed at the dealer double what it would cost to buy an ecm and install it myself

If your confident the PCM is faulty grab the service number off your PCM and see what a used one costs, auto trans PCMs can be relatively inexpensive but if you have a manual they can be hard to find and expensive.
2nd gen PCMs are plug and play aside from programming the VIN which isn't nessesary to make the truck run and resetting the immobilizer (if equipped) which can be done with a jumper wire.

Maybe pop the #4 coil out and see if the tip where it clamps onto the plug is dry and not covered in oil. If it’s covered in oil the spark plug tube gaskets need replacement

Tbh didn't think about that, if it needs a valve cover gasket I'll cry tears of joy if that fixes it

So had one code, then replaced parts and got a whole bunch of new codes. Related to the parts you changed. Start going over everything you did. Might as well replace one part at a time with the original part. Then clear codes and see what comes back up.

Yeah thats why its tempting to just buy one and throw it in it really seems like the last issue

It's tempting to just buy a part and throw it in, but I usually regret doing it. The suggestion earlier to put all the old parts back in one by one is a good idea. They didn't fix your problem so you know they are probably good.

The Maf sensor was already gone and i bench tested the pump and confirmed it didnt work the only other feesible option like i said and the one that honestly makes sense since like ive said the affects where instant and not something that happened overtime is a new ecm, i do know at one point this truck had roaches so theres a chance it got damaged

If you know anyone with the same truck, see if they will let you borrow their ECM for a day.

I know no one with the same one everyone else has the v6 or a newer truck and there are zero tacomas here in junkyards, besides an ecm being about 400 bucks and thats plug and play they program ur vin and everything isnt bad i wish i could take the ecm out and have it tested on a bench but i have no idea where to get that done in North GA

Where I work, we use a place called flight systems for testing things like that. A quick Google search didn't show much. I could get contact info if you want.

Something to think about. If something in your truck kills the ecm, you borrow someone's, it fries it, now you owe a friend a new ecm and a case of beer, and still need to buy one for yourself and figure out what's killing it.

Have to ask, how does one get roaches in a truck?
