I was told these were made in same factory.
I got a better quote on the Century.

I can tell you that they are not made at the same factory at all. Century was bought out by leer but still has its own factory and its own line and workers. IMO which I have had the top of the line century and it is JUNK. It came from the factory with white fiberglass showing on the edges and after just 5 months the paint started to spiderweb like crazy. I just got a new Tacoma the other day and already ordered the leer cap and the guy gave me money off due to the bad experience I had with the century. For 150 diff I would never get a century again. I have had caps on all of my trucks and would go with Leer or ARE

Interesting. Two dealers swear they are made in same factory - said sometimes they get a century they ordered in with Leer on it instead.
Guess they will say anything for a sale. The distributor probably told them that.

I was quoted 1195 for a Century Royal, 75 more for folding front window.

probably is a sales pitch. My guy deals both and we only live about an hour from the place they are built. Good price on the cap. I got the XL ordered with carpet liner sliding window and with brackets with tax for 1700
