okay so i made the title seem worse then it is.

the other night i was out and about and i was at a buddys hanging out and i had to move my truck to let someone out, wouldnt start, so we pushed it out of the way and said f it were drunk wait till the morning. woke up, wont start, jumped it, let it run for 30 mins, i thought okay ill be good itll recharge itself, so turned it off, went back inside. hour later, im leaving, and wouldnt start, jumped it again, drove it home 20 mins or so, got home, turned it off, tried turning it back on, nothing.

so that was christmas eve morning, so i called my toyota dealer, told them they sold me a certified pre owned with a POS battery, and i wanted them to replace it, gave them the story what if i was out of town for christmas i would of been screwed blah blah, they said theyd take care of it 'on them' so we'll see how that goes once they call me to come get it.

luckily im off all week so i didnt have to work today. maybe i can get them to to do the rear leaf tsb because i bought it with 36,500 miles on it and i can just say hey i just found out about it do this while your at it since you couldnt do it while you had it.

    Easy to check this.

Take meter and see what the battery reads with truck off.

Turn on truck and see what battery reads.

If truck has less amps when running your alternator is most likely fired. If it's the opposite and you have more amps when running (what I think based on your explanation) the battery is dead.

As far as I know any/all certified pre-owned Toyota's have 10/100,000 mile warranty....is this not what you got as well?

Glad you got the starting problem taken care of for free. Maybe time for a lift if your rear is sagging too much :)
