Truck update. Who doesn't like king shocks

    true true. but for real anyone got ideas for replacing the stock bump stops that are to tall to allow full stroke of my shocks?

    The stock bumps are pretty short already, I'd almost say the kings in the rear are meant to be paired with a lift for more room for travel.

    You can also tweak dakars quite a bit by pulling leafs from the pack. That way it gives you exactly the height and ride you need.

    hmmm good to know ill do some research on my rear the front bumps are fine. maybe if i want to stay away from bump ill do a stiffer valving in the rear shocks. idk ill ask some shops. until next time. thanks fellas

    This. If they Kings you bought are longer and intended for lifted applications there is a chance that the shock is bottoming out. One of the reasons I did not go with kings was most In Stock options were for lifted applications (2+ inches). As such at stock ride heights you would need to extend your bumps to stop the shock from bottoming out or risk blowing the shock. The icons I bought were for 0-2 inches of lift and since I am running a 1 inch lift in the rear they fit the bill perfectly without having to custom order a shock.

    as far as i know they werent they were direct plug and play 2.5s the 25001-121 kit didnt need to compress the shock she slapped in perfectly it does sit lower than i expected most people with kings in the rear i see their resis higher. so ill post a photo from my phone. but im thinking now its going to need tuning.
