My 2006 double cab short bed got rear ended while parked and the collision center quoted 14,000$ worth of repairs (including a frame swap).
I was worried that the insurance company would deem it a total loss, but they got back to me today saying that the value of the truck is 20,000$ so they are approving the repairs!
This just shows how good of a decision it was to get a taco in the first place!

The low mileage was a great help. Glad it’s getting fixed. Now is a good time to any suspension stuff or repairs since it’s all got to come off for the frame swap.

Could you ask them what they're smoking and where they bought it? 'Cause I'd like to buy some of that chit.

Congrats on them approving to repair your truck. I know I'd hate to give mine up.
