I can’t believe a mailbox could do that I will look into upgrading my insurance. Hopefully you can get can get that nice looking truck back to normal ASAP. I almost bought those same headlights but they where on on backorder when I tried to get them. Either way good luck with the truck hopefully you get it back soon.

That is an easy fix with the exception of paint. It all bolts together. It did exactly what it was designed to do. It's all replaceable with a socket and ratchet set and a pair of small flat head screwdrivers. I don't see any coolant on the ground, nor do I see transmission fluid. I didn't look at the AC lines.

Almost the exact same thing happened to mine before I owned it. I bought it from a close friend.

Edit: never mind full coverage easy peasy, maybe file for loss of value since it'll show up in a carfax?

I love the headlights, if you end up buying them used the code EXCLUSIVE if it still works you'll get $100 dollars off

Make sure the core support is good, I had a run in with a ditch that looked like this:
~25 mph into sand dune ground

    27814CD4-B939-420E-BF6C-AA9A15F79ED2.jpg
not much damage appearing besides broken tabs and bumper... but:
    A5284720-0542-48A6-838D-828802A25F2B.jpg

Bent core support backwards buckling in and also downwards.

I’d think you’re damage OP would be at least this bad !

I'm worried about buying the wrong parts/installing them wrong. I seriously have no auto repair experience.

    I'll guess >$5k.
He has full coverage and will need to use it. No need for him to chase down parts, that's what body shops do and why you have insurance.
There are several brick mail boxes in my small subdivision, which is very much "working class" and not upscale at all. And it's not because we have people destroying them.

I'd personally look at Craigslist first but I live in a big metropolitan area with 3.7 million people. Car-Part and eBay would be a good place to start for used factory Toyota parts. There are quite a few companies that sell new chinese knock off parts if you're ok with that. Otherwise I'd go to an online factory source of parts like toyotapartsdeal or toyotapartszone etc...

If the core support is bent it's probably out of your league to replace the parts yourself due to lack of experience and core supports are spot welded in. If the core support isn't bent and you can turn a ratchet then you can do it yourself. Refer to YouTube videos for how to's and it should go smoothly. It doesn't look to me like the core support will be bent but it's difficult to tell without physically being there at the truck.
