My wife has been using our Tacoma as her DD for the last few years and I split time between the F150 and an older Honda. We were helping my son and daughter-in-law move into another home a couple of years ago. It was at the end of a cul-de-sac that was very narrow when neighbors parked cars on the sides of the road. When backing the trailer in I had less than 2" clearance on both sides.

I had gone with my son back to their old apartment for another load and noticed a mailbox laying on the ground. My wife had run to Walmart in out Tacoma while I was gone and backed over it, and didn't even know she had done it. Did this

So, I'm off to Home Depot for another mailbox, post, concrete, and lettering to replace the broken box. When I finished the guy had a LOT nicer box and post than before.

But on the last load while backing the trailer into the tight spot the side mirror of my F150 hit the brand new mail box and crushed it. No damage to my truck, but it is back to Home Depot for the 2nd mailbox of the day. Fortunately it did no damage to the post.

It's easier to keep your story straight the first time vs. fibbing
