Gotta love it.. Guy is 100% at fault and you gotta fight with his ins. Company.. If it was me I would call my ins. Company especially with him being found at fault..

I looked through the pics and still can't figure out how it exactly played out lol. Jeep reversed out of parking spot at mach 3, smashed into the OP whose truck was parked, pushed OP's truck off to the right, at which point OP's left rear end tore up the side of the black car and finally ended up mashed into the gold car?

Man that stinks! It's for this reason why I won't park around handicapped stalls. I have seen and heard of too many old people doing this kind of crap, and they almost never just affect 1 other car, unless they are crashing though the glass doors in the front of small businesses. All that aside, I hope you can get this all worked out.

Yep parking brake was on. He just nailed me that hard. The black cars damage was the guy in the jeep. My truck didn't touch it.

That's why folks at a certain age should be required to only drive manuals.

Another good reason to park far away from other idiots. sorry that happened OP.

Just find out who the dealers send work to. Around here there is one location most of the dealers send body work to. And its not a rinky dink mom and pop shop. They do really good work and do it right.

So I received a message from the desk adjuster and he stated after looking at the pictures and reviewing my file he is changing the adjusted amount for the tailgate. That's the only thing. He also left in the message that he would fax the update to the body shop. Without talking to him I get a call from the body shop asking what the plan was and I told him he should have a received an update. He calls me back and says he found the update and the adjuster raised the amount by $160. Sweet! The body guy says that's enough to get all OE parts and we should be good to go. Best news I heard all day.

Now the question awaits will there be any unseen damage to the vehicle when they start tearing it down and do the alignment and frame check...?

The guy at fault insurance should or better pay for it all. I have 200,000 coverage on my property damage. that's enough to pay for 3 new cars.. They are trying to screw you. After all, you had nothing to do with the accident. Why must you pay anything. If anything they should pay you way more for the trouble.

Same thing happened to me when they were putting by wheels back after a service at the dealership, and they were going to "spray it".. But they replaced for a whole new Ivan Stewart Rim.. I was really happy

Wow. It's hard to believe ALL that can even happen in a parking lot.

as far as oem and aftermarket parks, i've had insurance companies tell me it u have to pay the difference too, I saw that you got yours taken care of, but I'm sure it varies from company to company.
