wow. That really sucks. I'd have my attorney take care of this.

 

Stick to your guns and get genuine OEM parts! The guy sure tagged enough vehicles in one mishap. This is why I park in the "cheap seats" when at most parking lots. Wife thinks I'm crazy. Sat her down to see this.

Gotta respect the elders, but i think they should have vision and driving tests every year after the age of 60 or so.

I do about 7 hours of city driving 6 nights a week and i cant believe how many close calls are from elderly people driving worse than drunks.

glad to hear its working out! were your wheels turned when you parked? if they turned from getting hit, could the steering rack be damaged? glad you werent in the truck when it happened!

 

So true. My family just about had to force my dad to give up driving. And that was at age 70 he gave up driving. He seemed to think he was ok. But kept on having small hits. I am glad it never came to this for him.

But some people just think they are all good. I personally think everyone should have to retake the driving test every 10 years until 60 they every 5 years and after 80 every 1-2 years.
