Ok I followed advice going with Meguiar's Gold Class. Got a Brush and a mitt. Gave my Baby a soak in the tub she so desperately needed. Took the better part of two hours. When I began I noticed these orangeish (I'll get a pic of them later) marks in the paint. Considering she lives under a Maple tree I thought Sap. How do get rid of it. My truck is clean except for the sap. My first thought was claybar but I don't know. If it took two hours to wash I can't guess how long to Claybar. Thanks as always.

There are other alternatives to claybar such as Nanoskin or this towel thingy that has a special rubber compound on it. Could be worthy to look into.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Turtle wax bug and tar remover. Rubbing alcohol might also work.

Clay bar is a P.I.T.A, but it definitely works. I did it on my truck when I had drift paint spray on the hood and dry in tiny specks. Took care of that.

White paint that usually gets little orange rust looking spots is Iron Dust and you need a specialty cleaner, I think the stuff is called Iron X if memory serves me.

Not sure if it'll work in your situation, but I had a big blob of clear sap that had dried onto my hood and I was able to easily get rid of it by soaking a cloth in warm water and laying it over the offending area. Came back an hour or so later and it had saturated the sap and it wiped right off!

Try some goof off? It takes all kinds of stuff off without doing anything to the paint. Works on tree sap, tar, bugs, adhesive, etc.

I've used it plenty on both old and new paint with no ill effects.... I just used it on the tailgate of my tacoma to remove the adhesive from the dealer sticker. Worked great and did nothing to the paint.

Having said that: test on an inconspicuous area first per instructions.

Use this, it's perfectly safe on vehicles, it's formulated for them. I would never use any other adhesive remover on my truck, this stuff can remove everything without harming the paint at all. You can pick up a can at auto zone

The Turtle Wax stuff works great. Black specks of tar show up on my silver paint, and that stuff removes it, no problem. Works with sap as well.

I used it on latex paint and plastic, both of which they claim it is safe to use it on, and it damaged both. Clear coat on my truck is way too expensive to take that chance. lol

    I suggest you read this:

    http://www.goofoffproducts.com/product/pro-strength-remover

they even say it damages many plastics. Never said safe for latex paint but since it's a petrol derivative, it's almost common knowledge that it'll eat that shit away.... at the bottom it even states safe for use with most automotive surfaces. "Most" being placed into it for a CYA just in case someone use it on some home done spray can job using latex paint I'm sure.

OP: this stuff is safe on your auto finish if you want to use it. If not, don't. It's not my truck and I really don't know what that is on yours. Also, I get no kickback from goof off so use unicorn urine of you can find it. I'm sure it'll be best on your paint considering the interweb opinions.
