    2003 tacoma DCSB auto,
Park my truck this morning to run it to shop and when I came out I couldn’t get my truck out of park. It’s like the thumb button won’t go down to release it?? I can release it with the tab above the Part indicator, Once out of park the button pushes down fine. What up with it???

check your brake light switch... the shift inhibitor will not release if it doesnt get the brake applied signal from the brake light switch.
