Okay so, I’m at a complete loss. A few days ago after a roadtrip from moving states my trucks stoped driving completely. Reverse works some times and in drive it will slowly coast but throttle only revs it. I’m getting P2714, P0746, and P0776 codes which are all Pressure Control Solenoid Performance/ Stuck Off codes. Specifically for B, D, and A. I tore everything apart and ended up replaced the entire valve body and all 7 solenoids and wire harness. But it’s still not working. I checked all the clutch packs and they look perfectly fine. Temps read fine. I’m not at the point where I can drop it off at a shop and dump a couple thousand into it again unless it’s the last case scenario. Anyone have any ideas I’m pretty desperate at this point.

it’s a 2016 TRD Off road with 75k miles. All maintenance has been done and fluid levels were and are fine.

The only parts left are ecm replacement and the transmission replacement. 2 of your codes are pointing to the valve body/transmission replacement. Used ECU is $100-200.
P2714 is calling fot the pressure testing

If i am reading this right, you removed the trans, took it apart, and looked at the clutch packs ?

are you sure your gear selector is properly engaging the appropriate selection? it's somewhat common that the shifter bushings sometimes wear out on automatics and make different gear selections harder to 'locate', like swishing a spoon in cheerios...

I don’t believe it is this. The dash still reads exactly what gear it’s supposed to be in and it still goes into reverse just fine. If this is a possibility tho how would I go about checking it?

No I havnt taken it all apart yet but that was probably my next plan of action. After removing the valve body assembly I was looking at them through the opening at the bottom of the trans and they appeared to be ok. No obvious heat discoloration and still looks to have plenty of “meat” left in them. How likely is it that these clutch packs are the problem?

disconnect the shifter linkage on the trans, move it into the 'drive' notch, place the shifter into drive, and ensure that the two still line up correctly.

also, did you check your trans fluid level?

I would guess you have low pressure. You dont mention what color the fluid was or i there is enough fluid.

Fluid level is good. I’ll try the shift linkage today. What’s the easiest way to go about doing that. Iv never done that before

Iv replaced the fluid 3 times now including a full system flush. Last time I drained it- it was still transparent red.

You parked it, and next day it doesnt go ? Seems very odd. I would ask at local Toyota dealer or trans shop. Sometimes they will give you some clues or advise.

You need to get a scanner that can perform active testing to check all your solenoids. SM states that you need to check SLT solenoid. Then go through the list outlined in the Trouble Area

@Twisted_Taco16, did you reset ECU and the tranny memory after the replacement?

    LS1 swap with nitros.
If you removed the trans, put it back in, and don’t know the procedure to sync the shifter cable it may be that easy. Had to fiddle with mine when removing the trans for the rear coolant water bypass pipe. The linkage was a royal PITA.

and what process did you check fluid level with?
