All drum brakes can do this.

Release the brake and pop the truck in reverse, problem solved.

Every car I had with drums did this. Especially on manuals because I used the parking brake a lot (except for my 1st car that the cable was broken).

Are there any vehicles sold in America other than a Tacoma that have drum brakes?

My 2020 has done this twice. Once was just a real humid night and the other time I had washed it the evening before.

YES!!! Since this never happened before, I didn’t mention that I had put my boat in the water for the first time with this vehicle. The ramp was a gentle slope and, by the time the boat was afloat, the read wheels (and drums) were fully submerged. I’m thinking that the next time I do that, I won’t use the parking brake until I’m very sure the brakes have dried. Any other suggestions? Thanks for this insight!!

Yes. Sell the boat and experience the happiest day in a boat owner's life.
