So this just started last week. My truck pulls. And i dont mean to the sides. It refuses to roll freely in neutral. I have to give it some gas just to get it moving. And when i let off the gas it slows down quickly. What could be causing this. Im on a budget and cant be throwing money blindly at parts.

Brakes grabbing, could be broken or loose spring that pulls the shoes away from the drum.

Do you have a jack? Raise each tire individually and see which axle/side is getting hung up. Then remove the tire and inspect, or take a photo and report back with more info

Okay. I didnt even consider the brakes. My cv boot is torn and thought maybe that was the issue.

If a single caliper we’re stuck wouldn't it pull to that side?

A leaking slave cylinder can rot pads causing them to leave a chunk of material glued to the drum.

It might be as simple as the colder temperatures so much surface tension on all the gears .

unless the problem happens after things warm up and you have driven 5 miles or so.

I’d start with jacking up the front and spinning the wheels.
Then do the same for the rear.

USE WHEEL CHOCKS ON THE FRONT WHEELS. THE TRUCK WILL ROLL WHEN THE REAREND IS OFF THE GROUND.

Very typical to see seized calipers, shouldnt take long to find, even jacking one tire at a time.

Drive it around the block and check to see if front ot back rotors are excessively hot, will help narrow it down to front or back
