Truck wont start (check charging system)

My first battery lasted 33 months. My Toyota replacement is coming up on 5 years. I normally go to Toyota for a free battery if under warranty. If out of warranty I just go to Costco

 

Routine maintenance counts a lot and goes a long way towards good battery life.
I try to keep up on it with my machines and often get 10 years out of a battery. (this has been in MN, TX, CO, GA, CA, & FL. All temp extremes and no extremes.) Still on the original battery in my '17 Taco (seven years in Dec).

You didn't say it was "bottled water", just that it took a whole bottle. Do NOT use bottled drinking water to add to the battery. Always use distilled water.

 

Mine has been doing the same thing off and on for 2 years, at random times i go out to start my truck and its.dead. I have replaced the battery 3 times in a 6 month period. It's weird cause I can't figure out why this keeps happening and it's left me stranded. Batteries good and alternator has tested good.
