I would check the positive/negative terminal, clean and make sure they are tight. If the truck won't turn over again. It must be your starter

+2 I have seen it a lot also.

You are missing a lot of what the OP wrote, he is having electrical issues of that similar to the symptoms of a bad alternator. Given the fact that his car needs to be started every time its off though indicates a bad battery. He needs to try out a new traditional lead acid battery or have his current one tested. Though I believe testing procedures are a bit different on AGM's.

Not fixed... Yet, but I agree trying a new battery after work would be a good place to start.

I went to it this morning to do a volt test while trying to start it. First of all when I got to the truck there was zero power with the key in the ignition. Battery was at 12.9v. I go to fiddle with the fuse box and the gf in the truck said it started to come on. A sure as shit all of a sudden the radio is working and everything is on. Turn the key, click, zero power again. Then again all of a sudden power to the radio. The lowest I saw the volt meter go while trying to turn it over was 12.3v. Trust me I've pushed on almost every connector and fuse to make sure nothing jarred loose. Maybe a weak fuse?

I also know I have the 12.9 volts at the fuse block termination (neg batt post to fuse block main terminal) while the truck is off with zero power to the radio.

I would start by buying new battery terminals (maybe $5 for the pair) and cleaning EVERYTHING that could have corrosion on it. Other then that, sounds like a bad battery. Good luck fixing it

Yeah it sounds like a connections/corrosion issue. Make sure those fuses are tip top. If you have access to a power probe check continuity with that, or check continuity with the volt meter if you have that.

If you show 12.9 volts free standing and 12.3 during ignition start then I would say it is not the battery. Perhaps a bad ground.

Some where you have a shit connection it could even be at the body fuse they are bolted in a loose bolt on that will give you issues. Bad connections will act ok until they are loaded then every thing goes away as soon as you draw power.

Let me add this. I assumed it is understood that you cannot charge a battery and immediately check the voltage to see if it is a good battery. You should wait about an hour after charging to see the drain off and then check the voltage. I say that because the OP stated he had 12.9 volts which is above full charge and might indicate he checked it right after a charge which could give a false indication.

Took the battery off and brought it to parts source, and they said it was good. Putting out a little more cold cranking amps he said.

The terminals are and have been clean from the start.

    Thoughts are welcome :)

Long shot, but check under the driver side dash and look at all the wires. I remember reading a thread about someone having electrical issues because one or a few of the wires had become frayed by being in an area that was exposed to a something moving. Brake pedal or something to that affect.

Check that all the nuts are tight on the studs in the fuse box.

There is no such thing as a weak fuse. Either it is good or bad.

I think there is a large connection in the fuse panel under the hood that may be loose 120 amp fuse that is bolted in place. You probably have loose bolts. I hear that it is a pain to get to however.

This right here. Battery being ruled out, check all of your bolted connections to the body and to the fuse box, inspect the wiring closely and look for anything that may be amiss. You also should check inside the the cab under the dash and make sure everything looks good there.

    Fixed.

Shitty connection where the ground lug bolts to the truck body, lol.
Was a lot easier to troubleshoot with a dude in the truck letting me know when the power would come on/off

Had a Dodge Colt that needed a lot of attention at the ground to body connection. I'd make a baking soda and water paste and clean up to corrosion that made for poor connection.

Out freaking standing! Great job OP, another set of hands is always helpful. I'm always alone on all of my repairs as well, so it is hard to know if something is ok or not when it comes down to testing time.

If that's not available (I know I don't have baking soda here at home) Windex always works as well. The ammonia agent which is mixed within helps dissolve and eat away at corrosion if allowed to sit on the connections for a minute or even 30 seconds. Some water sprayed or hosed onto said connection and it's good as new!
