If your battery isn't dead, maybe a break in your starter circuit somewhere. Just to be safe, did you try boosting?

How do you know it isn't the battery?

Dash lights are a fairly large clue.

Maybe check to make sure your dome light or headlight switch aren't in the on position.

What you did, as long as the jumper cables were connected to a charged battery on the other end...

Check the main fuse in the fuse box. The big one.

Also, you said you swapped batteries?

1 - do you dash lights come on when you turn the key the to run? Or is it still stone dead?
2- When you had it hooked up to another car with jumper cables, did the engine crank at all?

I guess mentioning what you have tried already is a good idea, you didn't mention swapping batteries until 4 people tried helping.

Anything you know should be said up front otherwise you're wasting our time and we're wasting yours.

Probably fuse related then. Check your fuses

Hopefully you have out your owners manual, it will show you were to do this and what fuses control what. Make sure to only take one out at a time. Calm down and do it methodically.

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
do you have a clean connection from the battery cables to the battery itself. make sure the copper wires arent all gummed up inside the connectors. it sounds to me that either the starter or starter solenoid is acting up.
