Maybe let gravity assist you and have your front end pointed downhill. This will cause all the ball bearings to roll towards the flex plate. I would then jack up the driver side of the rig so the ball bearings shift towards the passenger side. Looking at my video, it looks like there's a small gap in the lower passenger corner that will allow you to fish them out with a magnet tool or maybe even your finger.

Here's the type of magnet tool I'm talking about.

Thanks Tim! I have the flex magnet thing. I'll go fishing tomorrow night after work. What are the chances I screwed anything up dumping the bearings into the bell housing?

Very doubtful anything could get messed up. The flex plate is a beefy hunk of steel and so is the torque converter. The ball bearing would get shot around in there but I doubt they'd do any real damage. It does look like your flex plate teeth got a little chewed up from the starter gear but it's not remotely bad enough to warrant replacing the flex plate in my opinion.

Pulled the inspection plate and 2 bearings fell out. Backed the truck up on ramps and jacked the drivers side up. Fished around with a magnet and got nothing. Started the truck and didn't hear any bearings pinging around in there. Drove it a few hundred yards starting and stopping aggressively to try to shake things up and heard nothing, so I buttoned everything back up. Sure am hoping that was all of them! Thanks to everyone for the help and advice!
