Truck keeps powering to where the odometer shows up, immediately turns off, and does it again. I've made sure I'm in P. I've also unhooked the battery for 10 minutes and still no luck. Truck starts up fine when I hit the PTS. Anyone else run into this issue?

If you have any aftermarket doodads that are connected to anything electrical, I'd disconnect those first. Sorry not much more help than that, gl

    Well just found the culprit...
    16255267015003263046778823372280.jpg

Unplugged it and truck is shutting off now. Had this thing for a couple of years and never had a problem.

Yep that was it! Very strange but an easy fix. Was a cigarette lighter charger.

Not liking all the electronics, at all. Glad it worked out

Hmmm. Got the same one about a month ago. Used it a couple times without an issue but have it stored in my console now.

It's a good unit. Just used it on a 4 hour trip with no issue. But yeah, good idea to not keep it plugged in while the truck is off.

remote start systems will do this too (and the opposite). Usually remote start will cause an electronic brake malfunction

This was brought up on a KTM forum I'm on, a similar issue with a charger backfeeding (?) and causing the headlights to randomly turn on when the bike was parked. Glad you figured it out. Electrical stuff is super frustrating.

I know this is an old thread but I want to say thanks. Just had this issue with my 2018. Had a small battery pack from a heated scarf (the kids’) charging off of the cig lighter caused the same issue. Thanks!
