Truck wouldn’t start after remote start

    That is really interesting, I will definitely try just doing that to avoid the issue. This really is a frustrating problem, as when it is cold enough to need remote start the last thing you want is to be stuck with a vehicle that won’t start at all.

    Agreed,

    Hopefully that helps. Knock on wood I haven't had an issue since. I had to run the truck for 5-7min this am (-8*C) and unlocking as I walked up to the truck has been the ticket.

    Well, unlocking the truck with the key fob first after the remote start worked for quite a bit. However, today when I clicked unlock the truck stayed on, and didn’t shut off as it should. Tried quite a few different things, but could not get it to start. Had to dig out the sockets in the parking lot (on the coldest day of the year so far, as fate would have it) and undo the battery. Considering talking to the dealer about this, but I am almost certain they will be useless.

    Hope they can determine a fix, that's not ideal at all.
