Hey @TruckFridge I'm planning on buying the Arkpak 715 and stuffing the biggest battery it can accommodate, do you think with it's dc charging capability I can leave the pak connected to the dc receptacle in the back of the Tundra's center console and run the Fridge full time??? Thanks in advanced!!!

I can answer since i own the very fridge they are offering.

    Advantages:

    no more ice ever.
can work as a refrigerator for drinks or it can freeze (haven't used it for that so i cant comment on it)
the 50L is pretty solid in size and should be plenty for 3-4 days at a time
Mounting solutions are pretty good for it.

    Disadvantages
Need a power source to run it(endless options but i run a solar panel hooked to a spare battery box in my bed for example)
Pretty expensive compared to coolers of similar price, (Ice vs no ice debate)

I personally went with the fridge because price point, and i dont need ice again so long as i have a good power management system(some run dual batteries, some run solar setups it just depends)

@Leppz can fill in where i left off.

thanks for the pov. I have a solar panel (100w - produces about 60w on a good day) and a goal zero yeti 400w.
What kind of power is needed to run the fridge (tf41)?

on the eco mode i think it pulls around 3.8 amp hours.

The max mode is closer to 4.6 i believe. Dont quote me but their good rough estimates.

The TB51 is the Indel B model, which is called the TF51 when TruckFridge branded.

I'll have some shots of mine when it's delivered today. Paid on Monday, scheduled for delivery Thursday.

Thanks for the info, I would love to go camping without worrying about ice and making sure the cooler is closed correctly... This seems like a great deal. Still reading up on reviews on TB51.
