Trucks are on hold per Toyota

My dealer, in Richmond, Va just called and confirmed my build date for Nov 3rd. I should receive vehicle by mid Nov. I ordered a TRD Sport DCSB 4X4 Blazing Blue Pearl with tow package, tonneau cover and all Weather Mats.

 

@CaptAmerica truck was in allocation status "A" yesterday, received a text saying its now in freight "F" status

 

Lucky dog. My truck is still in "I" status for imaginary. Not expecting to get built now until Thanksgiving, with delivery mid-December.

Enjoy yours since I can't enjoy mine. Captain's orders.

 

If its coming from TX I'd be interested to know how long it takes to reach your dealer.

 

crap man sucks on your status. more info. it hit port today, so its in Kansas city port (my regional port). giving until Monday next week for PIO stuff, then on the transport truck by Tuesday with Friday the expected drop off at dealer.

perfect timing after the 1st of the month. hate buying a new vehicles at the end of the month, tags still come due on the 1st. had that happened before, bought on 29th, but tags still had to be on the vehicle by the 1st. lost 28 days of tag time.

What if this whole thing is a huge sham and Toyota is saying all of this to drive up the price of these things. I bet the Illuminati is behind all of this.

 

build date was given as 9/13 then pushed to 9/15, then nothing and now this.

Ordered a DCLB TRD Sport BBP 4X2 with all the electronic goodies back in August. Had an original 9/11 build date that got put on hold. Took the JBL off and suddenly got a date. Go figure.

I've been waiting a year so far...I can wait another month.

 

I think Capt. and mine are the same model/color with slightly different options.

yeah, this is the warden's truck. already been told, if I drive it before her, I may wake up to find broken body parts or locked out the house. I was ribbing her last night that I would get off work early to get her old truck and go pick up her new one. that's when I was threatened with bodily harm. no one is driving HER truck before her. end of story
