Last night I was playing around on a dirt road, just spinning the tires a little and getting sideways. After getting a little sideways at about 30mph, I slowed down then coasted to a stop in neutral to pick a new song on my Bluetooth radio. When I looked up I noticed my truck had stalled out, so of course I tried to restart it but it just cranked over. I got out and checked under the hood and everything was in place and no odd smells. No leaks under the truck also. I got back in and tried to crank it and it sputtered and died again as if it wasn't getting fuel. So I cranked it again and feathered it while turning it over and it finally fired. Long story short I feathered the gas and burnt my clutch a little until I got back to the main road.

The rest of the night the truck afted completely normal. No loss of power, great idle, cut it off twice and restarted and it fired right up. I even gave it an 80 mph full throttle run with no issues. I've chalked it up to either:
    - I had less than a quarter tank of gas at the time, so maybe I sloshed the gas away from the fuel pump pickup?
-picked up some trash and then ran it through
-had a little bit of bad gas

    I would love anyones input.

Are you familiar with vapor lock? Low on fuel, high RPM, high temperatures going on inside the engine bay with not a lot of ventilation (compared to highways speeds), sideways/sloshing forces all make it sound like a good probability. Like any vehicle that runs "out" of gas or sucks in a pocket of air into the fuel line it takes a bit for the system to purge all the air out of the line, through the fuel rail, and out the injectors until you have a solid column of fuel again.

Personally I wouldn't be too concerned unless it was reoccurring. Hopefully others will chime in on that. I could be totally wrong so take this for a grain of salt for now!
