So, I recently lifted my truck with with a fox suspension with an AAL in the rear.it gave me a 3" lift and now I'm rocking 33's. But I noticed when I make sharp turns (usually only up driveways) my tire rubs. And now my truck is making a squeaking noise. Is the squeaking and rubbing, from not replacing the stock upper arm controls?

Squeak coming from the front for sure or is it possibly from the leafs?

After lifting my truck I also got a squeak in the front end, I assumed from changing the static position of the lower control arms and bushings. Upper control arms will get you closer to oem alignment specs and may actually cause additional noise depending on which arms you get. I went with uniballs and they're more noisy then a regular ball joint and require periodic lubrication.

If you still have your sway bar the end links can also make noise.

I have this issue as well! It seems like a creak from the brakes but I cannot always reproduce it.

Same here but I can only hear it when backing out of garage with brakes applied. Strange.

Mine does that as well! Does it sound like metal creaking? It doesn't seem to do it when driving, only when going back n' forth in a parking lot or during a turn.

Man it just sounds like a old fashioned creak. Really strange. I’ve sprayed silicon In joints and it might be from brakes I just can’t tell.

Mine started during the last part of my trip to the mountains, became worse since I've been home. I wonder if it is the brake but it does not always do it when I press the peddle. I've been meaning to check the drive shaft to see if the u joints are going out. Also perhaps a LCA is moving? Like if the bushing is bad?

I had something similar, a squeaking sound when the truck would move up and down. I greased and lubricated everything I could think of, I thought it could be a bad shock since i had one that leaked about a year after I bought it. So I ordered some fox coil overs, figured since I was going to replace the shocks I would upgrade. There was a problem with shipping they said about 2 weeks out, but the squeaking kept driving me nuts it sounded like an old truck but it was 2 1/2 years old. While looking around one day i was pushing the truck up & down but did it from the hood instead of the bumper and there was the squeaking. For months I drove the truck around squeaking like it had a wore out suspension an it was the hood that needed some lubrication. Greased the latch and the two spots where the rubber buttons touch and problem solved.

I will try that but I would be surprised if that was it, I am sure it is the left wheel/things attached to the wheel and I can feel it in the brake peddle.
    :annoyed:

Also note mine is a creak and not a squeak, if that makes any sense haha.

I had a similar thing happen to me! after installing my ebay plate bumper i hadnt adjusted it properly and it was resting against some little plastic piece on the inner metal/body cab piece thingy. If you went up inclines it creaked like an old door, but only happened if it was raining and the piece got wet! took me 3 weeks to find that.

have any updates on the creaking, I noticed my front right side only has a creak(not a squeek)when I apply the brakes. ive tightened the alignment cam bolts and lubed the lower shock mount bolt area. I may remove the tire and clean and lube the caliper pins.

I had a really bad squeak just this past weekend and it was driving me up the wall. I thought this entire time that it was coming from the front suspension but when I pressure washed my leaf springs, the squeaks went away. Maybe give that a shot?

I pressure washer the both coilovers yesterday, and the noise was driving me crazy, grabbed my torque wrench found one cam bolt was not in spec was on the creaky side too, seemed to cure it but noticed when I slow down with the brakes I get a faint creak sound from the front right side im assuming the brakes but not counting out the cam bushings

Yeah it actually was the bolt that holds the spindle to the upper control arm, it was loose!
