    anyone watching this show today? they are doing a build of a gen 1 tacoma. should be interesting.

    For those of you who haven't seen the show before, it is on Spike (168 on dish netowrk).

    They just did some general maintenance and took it out stock to see what it would do today. The build piece should start next week.

    cool episode. Doing the T-belt is definitely not as easy as they made it seem though lol.

    I was laughing pretty hard when they were dissing on the gay dual exhaust :laugh:

    I'm so excited for next week! I wonder how there gonna lift it. I'm guessing coil overs and they also hinted to a possible future SAS!

    did you hear that gay dual exhaust? It sounded HORRIBLE! I just sold my '99 and it sounded 10 times better with the stock exhaust.

    881 Front coils, Bilstien 5100's all the way front set to "0" Icon Dynamic's mini leafs in rear, stock tires.
    I wonder what they used to tighten the crankshaft pulley? Its easy to half ass it when someone else is footing the bill! Thats asumeing they used the impact wrench.

    Yeah that can't be safe lol. And the funny part is they could have made the tool to hold it in about 1/2 hour like I did, then use the proper tools to tighten it down.

    Also when they said you can spot a 4wd tacoma by the 6 lugs was pretty funny.
