Looks great! I can't wait until I can start doing some "real" mods to my Taco (tires, suspension, etc.)

Nice build! Your truck is awesome, i have been looking for someone with this exact setup! I have an access cab and im going to be installing the exact lift as you. Already got my light racing ucas and everything else is on the way(885s no top plate spacer, dakars and nitrochargers all around) im glad i found this i am loving the stance of your truck i cant wait until mine looks like this! I was worried about to much rake but now im not, the setup looks perfect.

Thanks man! Glad everyone likes him and finds this helpful. I dont have exact measurements, but it looks near factory on the rake and/or close enough to level and definately no bro lean. Good luck with your build sir! :)

What's the matter Tru can't get the Taco up to 88 or is it the 1.21 jiggawatts without Mr Fusion?
    New sig looks good.

    Nice looking truck!!!

Within the end of day, I am also ordering the OME lift kit but have to wait on the Dakars until January. Going to be also ordering the Raceline Raptors with the BFG's.
What is the big differnce from adding the top plate spacer and not adding one? Thanks

thanks man! the amount of lift you get out of the front would be higher with the spacers, and would prolly give you a siffer ride. If you go with the 885 coils tho you might want em cause your a double cab.

Looks perfect!! Did the carrier bearing drop get rid of the 20 mph vibration you were feeling?

Love the lift man..looks real nice. So now that everythings done and re-tightened, im curious as to how the truck rides compared to stock and if your noticing any noises from the new spring set. Also, is the truck sitting level?? Thanks!!

hrm, well my experience will be subjective but ill try:

He does ride more stiff than stock, some larger bumps and holes feel smaller while some smaller bumps and things are more noticable. One particular grate I have to drive over once or twice a day is where I can feel the suspension difference. before it was abit of a jarring thump at 35ish, now its more of a muffled thunk. but then its a truck and not a cadillac right?

there are some small noises in the front and back, but they only show up on gravel roads or really bad paved ones. nothing that youd hear with music on tho.

the biggest thing that kind of annoys me is that there is some intermittent play in the steering wheel when driving straight. by that I mean it feels nice and tight half the time but the other half there is a slight but detectable looseness in how it feels. its not wandering, this is just in the steering wheel itself. im not sure what it is tho, everythings nice and tight (I think) and theres no noise or anything else associated with it. I also think it pulls the steering too easily on uneaven gravel roads at low speeds, which im in and out of several times a day for work. I have no clue about the cause or fix of this tho, the alignment seems fine to me. its a puzzler!

I have abit of rake, its somewhere between stock and level. I like it tho.

hope that helps ya man. ;)

mini update: well, despite my best efforts, my dakars have developed the squeaks. wd40 is keepin em quiet for now, until I have time and opportinity to install oz's more permanent fix.

also, my 20mph vibe has mysteriously vanished for the most part on its own. mabye the weather? *shrugs* well see if it holds.

I dont think they have settled any, looking at em. if they have tho its not enough to tell visually. I dont measure em or anything.

id install some sort of isolator at the problem spots (the ends of the leaves at both ends to keep them from rubbing on each other) before you install them. that should prevent the most common squeaks and wd40 for everything else.

Mine were used for 8 months and I've had them for 15 months and they have never squeeked. I'm guessing if they settled they did it before I got them, I'm still at 3" with a shell.

TruKnight, where did you purchase all the components? Do you mind giving a total cost?... I am saving for the exact same lift setup EXACT!
