Does anyone have a Truxedo Titanium? Would like to know what you think of it. Looks similar to the Bak Revolver X2. Trying to decide which is better.

I thought about buying the TruXedo Titanium but money was an issue for me. I did do some reasearch on the 2 covers and if I were to buy one it would be the Bak Revolver X2 because the sides of the cover are locked down when the tailgate is closed. The TruXedo has Velcro down the sides so it is not locked. Watch the 1st video below. Bak Revolver X2 is secure. The 3rd video is Todd installing the Revolver X2 on a 2016 Tacoma.

I now see that they both have the same cable pull release to unlock the cover. There was another thread that showed how easy it was to get to that cable. The Bak Revolver X2 would still be more secure with the locking side rails.

On the flip side, the Truxedo Titanium is a lot simpler to install and has a quick release to remove the cover. That is what drew me to it in the first place.

Yeah my TruXedo Lo Pro has the same feature. Works great.
