I have never had a tonneau cover before so im not real sure how they are supposed to fit... But this one barely goes over the tailgate when closed, is that normal?

I dont even have it all the way pushed back either... But when i did it was harder to get to the Velcro to keep open in the front and it was barely touching the tailgate in the back.

Just curious if this is normal or if its supposed to be longer? Or cover more of the tailgate?

    Anyone using this cover?

Mind showing a picture of where it sits on the tailgate please?

Yeah I have this exact cover. I will take a couple pics of how mine sits after I head out for lunch today from work.

I don't believe it should fit with an open gap at the end. Seems short to me.

I'll bet you got the model for the 2nd gen taco...!! 3rd Gen bed is a little longer and has the curved T/G..

Here are a couple pics of my TruxPort Tonneau cover on my DCLB I took here at lunch. Now I don't know if the Long Bed makes a difference but it looks like yours might be just a bit shorter on fit than mine but not by much (if any at all). Looks like I have mine in about the same position as you on my header rail in the front as well.

Mine fits great I don't see an issue with it. The weather strip seal on the end of the tonneau cover have plenty of room to work on my tailgate.

Maybe you can shift your cover a half an inch more towards the rear of the truck?

Sorry for the delay, been a busy couple weeks.

Slamson it looks like ours are about the same and i have since seen another in person that was positioned identically... So I'm not going to worry about it...

    Thanks fellas!

Cant quite tell but I think you need to rotate the head rail 90 degrees to the left. The gasket should contact the head rail on the bed.
