So far I think this my favorite, especially with the fold up tool box.

Yea, they have great reviews and a good warranty. I wanted something I could take completely off in seconds if I needed two. They are cheaper from online dealers. I ordered mine from here. http://tonneaucovers.com/ and they dropped shipped it directly from Extang, should have it later today.

Why is it a better option than the Bak, in your opinion?

*Edit* Actually, it doesn't seem to matter, since neither of them make these for Tacomas anyway!

My issue with hard roll is if one carries a heavy item and it shifts forward, it could Dent the aluminum ruining the cover. I like the soft Velcro roll ups like Truxport. Less than $300 no worries about damage,

I especially don't care for the Tonneaus that only allow the use of 2/3s of the bed and don't flip up the last piece requiring removal to use the entire bed. 5 foot beds are already short

I picked up my new Tacoma last night. I researched the hell out of them before I bought it, but somehow missed the whole factory tonneau cover discussion. Whoops. I didn't realize they hack into the top rail of the bedliner to install it. We also got a little rain last night, and it leaks like crazy. I'll have to mess around with it when I have time.

Aside from that, I don't hate it too much, but could see myself getting rid of it down the road. Every SR5 on the lot had one. The dealer told me roughly 30% of them are supposed to have them, but every SR5 they've gotten in so far has had one.

Are there any manufacturers that have plans to make any type of roll-back kind of cover? Every manufacturer's site that I go to has nothing for the 2016, and nothing that I can see says if they plan to make something or not. Has anyone inquired about this?

Did you add those adapters for the bed rails? I just got a Trifecta, and there are no adapters for the bed rails.

I have been researching these things for 4 days now... Driving me crazy .... I've come to the conclusion that I need the Extang Solid Fold 2.0

For how I use the truck bed, and the good looks and security, of this cover, I'm truly sold. Saw 1 in person today at my "accessories" guy...(it's on his truck)... I fell in love..

Looks like they are now available for our 2016's.... They run $1,000 or so CDN.. so that would be "peanuts in USD"... hehe.

The adapters came with it although you can attach the clips directly to the bedrail too as they go low enough. Felt a little more solid with the hardware so I chose to use them.

Mine didn't. I mounted them to the bed rails. The quick clamps were almost at their limit connecting to the bed rails.

I was going to order the same unit. What do you mean about the end covers not attaching? Does that mean it's not secure? As a thief could get inside, or it flops around when on a bumpy road?

Nice I was looking at their solid top 2.0. (6ft bed) Canvas just seems to worry me
