Well it was the "easy open" feature of the Bak Flip turned me off... apparently anyone that knows where that string is can stick a coat hanger in there and open the cover....

I do not want that.... Too easy to lose your stuff..!!

Extang solid fold all the way... ordered mine today..!!

Even the Extang guys are not yet making their roll-ups for the 2016 year. I give up for now.

I researched up and down about covers before I bought mine.

I have an Access Limited roll up cover.... Doesn't leak at all. I would never have a solid or tri-fold cover after my experience with mine. Tri-fold will block out the rear window when folded.... Fuk that.

2 feet of snow can fall on my roll up and no damage occurs..... no joke.

I really like the factory tonneau cover, where it just removes, not folds up. I wish there was a factory cover for the longbed or if there was an aftermarket that mimicked those factory covers.

Are the Access covers ready to go for the 16's already? I was told that it wasn't ready yet, but they were working on it.

For me I am looking for a cover that I can flip from the front or back, but is lockable. I can't seem to find one that fit my needs yet. I liked the bak flip. but you are still require to open from the tail gate up. I want one that can open from the cab down or bed up. Sometimes I may just leave something in the bed and want to open it from the cab's end.

The Fold-a-Cover G4 locks/opens from both ends but it's not yet available for the 16' Tacoma, should be out by the end of the year.

This is the exact cover I'm considering. I like the security of the tri-folds, but to be honest if they require a drain track/tube then it will not be functional for me for at least 4 months out of the year.

Snow and ice melt and then freeze. This will make using the co er as intended very hard if not impossible. For a cover approaching $1000 that seems unreasonable.

I loved my access cover on my 2014. I wan't concerned about security since that hasn't been a problem for me. Frankly, I don't think any of them offer much security. Even my factory cover can be easily cloths hanger'd. Best part about covers is that they hide your stuff. If someone wants in your truck, they will get in...front or back.

My dad has always said, "a good lock only keeps an honest person out." Like you said, if someone wants in they will get in.

I still can't believe the factory cover cuts the side rail. The cover will give out over time. When needed to be replaced it puts the next owner or current owner in a bad position.

The g4 doesn't require drain tubes.
