Does anyone know if the Fold a Cover G4 elite interferes with the bed rail system? I would like to be able to use the cargo divider and rail cleats while the tonneau is still on.

Assuming the install for the 2016 doesn't change you still have access to the bed rails. They use T-nuts that slide in the rails to attach their cover clamps, so you'll have access to the rail where the clamps aren't located. They have an install video for the Tacoma here.

I've often found that if I need the entire bed, I have an obstructed view out of the rearview mirror anyways. The advent of rear view cameras have really helped in the case of backing up at least. And yes, I could certainly take it off but, I'd rather not have to.

I've been trying to figure this out for my 2nd gen. My solution, after way too much time spent trying to find the ideal solution:

    http://www.rackoutfitters.com/rhino-rack-roof-top-bags/

Slapping one of these in the bed. I've also got Yakima bars over the bed that I could put this on, as well. Best part is that it folds up into a box about the size of 2 shoe boxes.

Great idea.. how do you prevent it from getting stolen ? I like the idea of having the whole bed space with a turn key lock to also secure other big items like fishing rods/bicycle.

What is interesting, if you select the cover type first then truck, it shows unavailable. If you select the truck make first. It shows available. They actually aren't ready yet, I inquired about the Trifecta, and was told Late December or Jan.

I actually found a website that listed the Trifecta for the 2016 in stock, I ordered it, and they then came back and told me they wouldn't be available until next year. And they refunded my money.

I can only say what I'm doing. I have a setup that uses Yakima crossbars over the bed. Those are locked down. I have two trays for bikes that also lock down. This bag will go in a load warrior basket. I'll try to lock it down with a cable lock. It won't be theft proof, but resistant. Won't stay there overnight, but should be fine for things like dinner stops.

I had opportunity to check out the factory cover. It's a damn nice piece. IMO.

I'm looking for a soft fold/retractable one. Hope a company has one for a 2016 soon.

Jim I had that same problem on my truck until I moved the bed cleats further back on the rail. The cover has two legs that stick down that it uses when you fold it back and they rest on the cleats in the forward position you have them in the photo. Once I moved them further back so it wasn't resting on them anymore the cover sits flat on the tailgate and I haven't had a problem with water since. I'd go and try that and see if it helps (sorry if this doesn't make much sense).
