    It’s 4WD.
    Trust me.
The early OR trucks suck unless they are locked. Once a wheel looses traction it’s nothing but but rev limiter.
Good tires are a must. It a pure open diff unless locked.

I've seen them on models earlier than 09 but I'm pretty sure it didn't become a standard feature on OffRoad Tacoma's until 09

My understanding is that it was around the time they introduced Auto-LSD. Which was in 09’ I think?

Thanks everyone. I ended up starting truck to bleed and flush. It took a few tries but now it's coming out as it should. I ended up doing a flush and bled it all corners starting from the rear. Brake pedal is solid and good to go

There it is. I have found this to be one of the most repeating problems when you can't get a good bleed.

Yeah, I suppose do it until you get a good stream of fluid. When I'm at work it usually goes within 5 minutes so that's why I said that:thumbsup:

I’d say under normal circumstances 5 mins is long enough. Nothing I ever do is under normal circumstances.

For future reference, here is the “old style” brake/ MC.
The MC and ABS module live on different sides of the engine.

The positive side is it’s cheaper than the newer style. Negative side is, is not near as powerful as the new er style.

Yeah. The engine is dirty. It doesn’t bother me.

So that's what that set of brackets is on the passenger fender well on my 2014 TRD OR. Good to know. I've considered mounting an ammo can or something there, just never really had a need for it. I keep a tool bag on the floor behind my driver's seat.
