I have a 2013 Tacoma TRD Off road. 4 wheel parts in Marietta told me they wouldn't lift my truck because the stock coil overs were so expensive to replace. I found two shops, Tire South and Creative Coatings in Macon, GA that would lift it and insure it. Tire South offers any lift I want, Toytec, Pro comp, and Rough Country. Creative Coatings only offers the Rough Country. I am looking at a 3" lift and I plan on 285 tires, thinking more of the BFG Ko II or the Toyo AT 2. Keeping my stock wheels I think. After all that, what's the best riding/best purpose suspension out there?

Of those choices, ToyTec.. but really, none of those.

    Best doesn't exist!

    Find another place to shop.

The first one is a stupid statement. The offers of the next 2 shops, Toytec is the only one worth considering.

You need to determine 'why' you need a lift at all, 'why' you need 3", and how much you are willing to pay.

If you're just doing it for parking lot cool points, anything is good enough I suppose.

If you have a functional need, want to retain a decent ride, align-ability and off road durability, you're going to pay a fair sum.

I would like the lift for cool points and the occasionally off-roading. I forgot to add that on my post.

Another thing worth mentioning. You won't be able to run 285s on stock wheels unless you get some wheel spacers. They're too wide and will rub on the UCAs. If you're set on keeping the stock wheels, get 255s. They're dubbed pizza cutters.
