    Hello,
I'm hoping to get some advice about my final tire/wheel selection to make sure I don't screw it up. I'm driving a 2018 TRD OR DCLB.

I've narrowed it down to BFG KO2s and these Method rims.

I'm trying to decide between 275/70/R17 and 275/75/R16. Obviously the same overall diameter, is there any real pro or con to either choice? Also, am I correct in selecting the 6x5.5 lug option?

I'm currently running stock suspension but would like to lift it eventually. I think these will fit in the mean time but I'd love any advice anyone has.

Last question, can anyone recommend a good tire shop in Portland, Oregon?

    Thank you!

I'll make it an easy decision for you.... 275/75/16 isn't a thing.

Yeah a few options for 275 70 17 but not nearly as many as 265 or 285. The only opinion I’ll share with you is to consider the Falken wildpeak over BFg’s. I actually have both on both trucks and would go wildpeak again. On my wife’s suv we have the hankook dynapro atm’s and they’re great for her car. Still at’s but less aggressive and lighter since they’re P metric. Really like the methods so can’t go wrong there.

Haha, I’ve looked at so many different sizes, I guess I got confused. That settles that then.

I hadn’t seen the Wildpeaks before, they look pretty interesting!

I have 17” SCS Ray 10’s with 255/75/17 Cooper STT Pro’s very minor rubbing.

Have had good luck with mine thus far and they’re equally if not more aggressive looking that the bfg’s. Don’t get me wrong the bfgs are good too just seems like Falken have more miles on them and are wearing better for me. Plus they’re on a 2500 dodge diesel so they’re carrying a bit more weight.

Stick with 265 or 285. You won't find a replacement 275 just anywhere if you ruin a tire away from home.
