    upholstery shop your best bet
especially if only one section(typically the outer bloster closest to the drvr door) is frayed from where
    shop will take off cover
then sew in that section(s) and recover
    most cost effective

pricing all depends on how much dmg(foam needed bc of wear?) AND what type of material you choose(European Leather big $$, next step down is vinyl, then cloth)

my apholstery shop recovered my Mighty Max seat bottom seat back(vinyl)/all foam(was terrible cond) for $650
also my MOMO entire cloth race car seat $400 (no foam)
referred a neighbor to same shop
bought new Tacoma crew cab......dealer wanted $3500 for leather seat upgrade
he paid $1300 for front and back seats to be leather.....he picked the type/cost of said leather.

yeah then that will be less than $200
they will just sew in that dmgd section

even less if you just take the shop the cover removed from seat bottom
(you do the labor to remove and install)

    Ok
In my experience (26yrs ins adjuster)

1-find a section/area where there are Boat Shops. There is bound to be an Apholstery shop near by
2-search for shops that replace convertible car tops(IMO) they have most experience/types of material on hand for u to choose from

send me a pm if you can’t locate anything
I can contact someone in CT (usually ins adjusters have a “tri-state” area.

    Also funny….
I took my GC8 Subaru to CT in 2007
(East Coast Swappers) to perform a 2005 STI complete swap to my 1998

I just went to, the shop mgr’s (in 2007) wedding in CA last month. We have always stayed in touch.

    town in CT?
