trying to find a close by ground

Probably a noob question ....can someone tell me where there might be a ground near this fuse box? I have looked everywhere with a meter w/no luck. This is the box in front of the driver's left knee. I'm trying to hook up a Garmin Map60csx GPS and don't want to run it off my ciggy lighter. The GPS is over on the left side of the windshield so a direct line down to this panel would be the bee's knees.

Right under it there is a bolt. That's what I have my gps grounded to.

 

Plenty under the kick panel to your left also. Along with the firewall.

 

Hmmmmm...ok....I'll look again. I must've missed it.

In my defense (weak as it is) it is getting damned dark out there already...my headlamp must not be bright enough (or the wearer isn't )

 

Thanks folks....I went back out last night and found the bolt staring me in the face....not sure how I missed it. GPS all installed.
