wondering if any of you guys know a manufacture that sells rear bumpers that swing out to the driver side? Literally everywhere I’ve looked has them swinging out on the passenger side for some reason. I’m also located in California, I would love to find a manufacture on the west coast if possible.

    Thanks for the help!

Looks like they only do swing out options for 3rd gen and 4runner for some reason though

I have actually seen that one before and I really like it but that one is for the 3rd gen and I never could find one for the 2nd gen.

Its so you can open your swing out if you're parked on a street. And for weight distribution for the gas tank!

Ah that makes sense thanks. I think I might have to go with a dual swing out. I want to have my camp set up with awning and what not on the passenger side but don’t really want to have a full swing out between the back and side.

I also just watched your vagabond walk around on YouTube btw, so sick!!

Do dual swing outs brother! I really like Bruteforce Fab stuff and Billy is a kickass dude. I used to have his HC rear w/ a single swing out on my last truck, and I am ordering (trying to order lol) a hc dual swing out for the new truck!

And thanks so much brother! I appreciate it

If it says anything, he built my sliders with measurements I had texted him, and with the help of just snagging some quick measurements from another 1st gen.

I'm in northern CA; I drove 6 hours to get sliders burned on, and another 6 hours back home the same day.

Trust me when I say he builds quality stuff.

Looks fantastic! Did he make your rear bumper to match as well? The vertical hoops on both looks killer.

Actually, the rear bumper was a trail gear bumper.

He was able to mimic the angle/slope and spacing at the rear of the bumper before I ever got my truck to him.

The kick up was just something I wanted since I've only seen it once before and it looked like crap (custom, found the pic online somewhere).

It worked out as I was using it as a step for both setting up the RTT, not to mention getting stuff out of the bed or even getting over in it.

Great for stepping up and cleaning the rear glass or roof too.
