    TLDR
    You got the back seat kennel from RuffLand?

    look at the sizing of the Medium Kennel. 1/2” shorter in length, that will take care of 1 of your 2” issue. Then when there is just 1/2” tight on each door maybe it will squeeze shut anyway?

    Yes I read through 10 pages of quality…material; and after reading the dog sizes OP gave the dogs would fit fine in the smaller kennel especially seeing as it’s only slightly smaller.
