Hey folks, picked up a set of 17" 4runner wheels for my 2007 Prerunner. Anybody know the correct lug nut size, length, style, etc. The appear to take a mag style lug nut, not the acorn style but I could be wrong.Screenshot_20190609-164022.jpg Screenshot_20190609-164022.jpg

Tacoma and 4 runners should use the same type lug nuts for stock rims. Those look like it would use acorn lugnuts.

I should add I am going from steelies to these pictured above. The mounting surface on these appear to be flat, not beveled.

I believe steel wheels have different seats on the lugs. Beveled as you stated is for steel wheels and acorn type seats. The seats for the factory aluminum is flat with a washer. If you had aluminum wheels originally you would be set, as they are the same seat, thread pitch as 4Runner just slightly shorter.

    Either will work.
I guess I should correct myself from earlier... What I noticed was the Tacoma lug nuts were slightly recessed into wheel further than they were on the 4Runner. I didn't physically measure them. Regardless, I put the wheels from my 4Runner on my truck and used the tacos lug nuts. (I started with aluminum wheels)

I’ve recently purchased 24 factory chrome lug nuts off of a 2018 4 runner for my ‘13, and they fit perfectly.

There's 2 lengths of the correct style (mag with the captured washer) nuts, although the part that matters is the same, it's just the length of the hex that changes. There's also chrome capped ones, which are Satan in lug nut form, as they rust under the stainless cap, leading to the cap swelling so you can't get a socket on, and/or the cap crimp loosening and it falling off.

I got a bulk pack of the shorter Gorilla nuts off Amazon, it was $80 or $90 for 60 of them, bought a pack of wheel locks, and sold the other 2 sets of 20, it worked out pretty cheap. They're not the best of the best, but they're better quality than the super-cheap ones, or OE capped ones, and it worked out to about the same cost. Unfortunately they're otherwise only sold in 4-packs, and they're $12ish per pack, so buying 6 packs is almost as much as buying the bulk pack.

I put those same 4Runner wheels on my '08. Got a deal on 800mi. take-offs. Luckily the owner saved the OEM lug nuts, so it was good to go.

The ones on left came off my tacoma trd wheels. the small one on right is what Discount tire tried to give me to replace the OEM ones they never gave me back and lost. Not sure how much that helps OP.

The set I bought had 195 miles on them. Owner ordered new 4runner and specific trd wheels. 4runner showed up with these wheels, so he drove on them for two weeks until correct wheels showed up to dealership. Stole em from him for $125

I had the same wheels put on my truck. I switched from the 17" TRD wheels and used the same lug nuts.
