Seemed simple enough, use the supplied scotchlocks and connect the colored wires - Wrong!!
When I got under my '17 TRD and opened the wire bundle coming from the trailer plug, the wire colors did not match. The light kit had Black, Green, Yellow, Brown, and White. The truck had Black, Green, Blue, Purple, Lt. Blue, White and White w/black stripe. Yellow and Brown were missing altogether.
Does anyone know how match up these wires? I have been on the internet for hours and can not find anything. Wiring diagrams that I have found do not match the truck.

Hopefully your light bar came with instructions on what wire is what. Worst case scenario, just start connecting like colored wires, if you blow a fuse, you know its not right, replace fuse and try again.
