    I was curious after reading all the responses in this thread. It made me wonder how the Toyota dealer ( 80504 ) I work with would respond to this TSB…

    I made an appointment for 02/17/2021 ( milage ~ 6160 );

    “Shifting pattern of the automatic transmission while in drive is not good…, coming out of a corner it will up shift ( killing power ). The program that controls shifting, seems to be confused, it will up shift early or hesitate.”

    When I arrived I handed the SA a copy of the TSB. She said thanks that was helpful, and then stated that she thought it might not apply to my truck ( 2020 ), but she was going to have them look at it…

    When it was done, she said that they updated the ECU (TC1910 Reprogram ECM ( PCM ) )…

    As others have stated: On the way home I was impressed with the improvements of this TSB update… Pedal response, shifting control is a lot better… I noticed in the Toyota app, the service tech test drove the truck before and after the flash.

    I am happy that I had this done, and also that the dealer I work with took care of me.

    Thanks to the OP for starting this thread, everyone that posted results after this TSB update, and to those that are posting trying to help others.

    Lou

    It good to hear from the 2020s as it is a smaller groups since the TSB was applied toward the end of production.

    thanks so much for your offer, but I bought a Carista device off of Amazon and its supposed to be delivered today, so I'm ready to do it myself. But I really appreciate your offer! Thanks again! (I already have the TSB update, done from the dealer, Tonered and I were talking about the turn signal flashes, which is what I will do this weekend.)

    Awesome. Carista is perfect for that. It's how I changed my turn signal clicks before I ever had techstream. Whoever thought 3 blinks was enough is crazy.

    I had my 18 manual in for the fuel pump recall. I ask about ECU and the clutch pedal TSB , I have both symptoms. They test drove it and said it’s fine. They fixed the fuel pump no problem, disappointed on the TSB’s.

    I’ve learned to live with it, the hesitation is only a little annoying. My 1st gen, and 2nd gen had squeaky clutch pedal syndrome. Periodically lubricant works.

    If you do a soft press on the turn signal it activates a set number of blinks. Default is 3. You can change this to any number up to 7.

    Thanks. Didn’t know that.
    Excuse my ignorance but, my turn signal just blinks continuously one after another. Where do you see three blinks?

    Tsb is great like a brand new truck now. Did anyone else notice a little more engine noise like air suck or something. No problems at dealership, just tell them the truck is all over years on highway
