Do dealerships normally charge $800 for a TSB service? This is my first time requesting a TSB be performed. It is TSB 0373-09. It's for the transmission shift problems. Is charging customers normal for this?

If your warranty period is up, then yes. Since it is not a recall, they are not obligated to eat the cost...

I'm almost at 90,000 miles on my 2008. I do have a Toyota extended warranty bumper to bumper. Would that cover it?

The extended warranty should cover it. If they are charging you, then they're saying the warranty doesn't apply but, if I were you, I'd argue that.

I just called and mentioned my extended Toyota warranty. They said there shouldn't be a charge.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Holy SMACK! $800? The TSB calls out 0.6 hours of shop time to perform the reflash and slap a sticker under the hood. That would mean they are charging $1333 per HOUR of shop time.

That's really sketchy - I'm not sure I'd want that dealership doing anything to my truck, free or not.

Wow. Voice dictation on iPhone strikes again. Lol. I said a hundred dollars and it put right hundred dollar. Oops. $100 was the quoted price. Free now with my warranty. We will see when I go in.
