    Hi guys,

I don't follow this forum too closely but I was wondering if an ECU update has been released recently for my truck (2017 auto TRDOR)? If so, what's the process to get this applied to my truck? Do I simply make an appointment with my dealership and they will apply the update free of charge? The truck is still under warranty?
If there are any threads that someone can link to about this update I'd appreciate that as well.

Apologies in advance if this sounds a bit uninformed. Thanks.

There is a tsb out for some auto trucks that recently came out. Just tell the dealer you're experiencing the problems in the tsb and they'll most likely just flash no questions asked for free

Call your dealer in advance, i called my local one, and they are not familiar with it. They’ll flash your truck as long as youre under 60K miles.

Called my dealer today and they said they haven't heard of anything yet. The manager did admit that we Canuckistanis are usually behind the yanks when it comes to TSBs so got to sit tight.

Had it completed. Shifts are much more responsive and smoother, how ever she is still quick to go into 4th with the slightest incline...
    I have 265/65/17 Erated
Are mx cap + 80lb wood platform in the back...
The flash has created a significant difference... but the trucks factory gears don’t have balls to push the truck without down shifting into the lower gear....
Conclusion: truck will get a lift, 33’s and 4.56 gears

Please update if you find that it is available and I will do same. I sent an email to the service manager at Mayfield Toyota in Edmonton with the US TSB on Friday but haven’t heard back

We are in Canada. We tend to lag behind on TSB’s.
