TSB friendly dealership list

As the title implicates, it would be beneficial to compile a list of TSB friendly dealerships. This is geared more towards the transmission TSB updates, but we can include any others (should there be any worth noting). My own experience at Crestmont Toyota, Pompton Lakes, NJ and Wesley Chapel Toyota, Wesley Chapel, FL (yes, two states) was met with a resounding “can’t duplicate, no update performed” or “never heard that before”. This while providing them with a paper copy of the TSB in hand and utilizing the correct verbiage.

Maybe we can list both, the friendly and unfriendly dealerships in the following order:

Temecula valley. Just know what TSB your talking about (Mixed results)

My dealer is good. Atleast the service writer I use is. I'll pm anyone who wants a recommendation for central ohio, but i'm not going to publicly name them as I am afraid Toyota might crack down on dealers that they feel are skirting the rules.

This issue came up in the last thread we had on this subject.

Not sure how quick of a reference this could be when it isn’t categorized by region, let alone state.

OP you should consider organizing all the posted info in the OP, state by state (NorCal, CenCal, SoCal as California is a big state).

Otherwise, nice idea but never going to be accessible info to anybody.

for me Temecula Valley sucks....I went there to look at new Tacoma, wanted to pay cash and they wanted to run credit check...said no.....i had given them some info and those fuckers managed to run credit check......3 yrs later still there...Paid cash somewhere else and they still to this date refuse to get it off....they lie and pretend to know nothing about any TSBs......new ownership is just as crooked as the last

 

It's how you ask. Also a history with the dealer helps a lot with previous maintenance.

It's shitty when customers that bought trucks from other dealers come in with a TSB printed from online and demand it be performed like a recall.

If the dealer that you are dealing with is real stinky, simply contact Toyota directly and they can open a case file to guide the dealer to a specific repair.

 

Thats a good point i know a good place in western ky area if anybody needs anything.

OP unless you are willing to spend a lot of time organizing this into a spreadsheet sorting region, state, dealer and friendly/unfriendly then this thread is useless. Sorry.

 

Friendly: Balise Toyota, Warwick RI

 

Unfriendly.. New Country Toyota, Saratoga Springs NY

 

Sloane Toyota in Glenside Pa is friendly.

 

Mossy Toyota in San Diego, CA is friendly. Speak with Brian. He's already taken care of me and then later a few of my friends. Alfonso will also take care if it without hesitation.

 

Beaver Toyota, Saint Augustine FL, have asked for trans tsb 3 times, they will not do.

 

Tricounty Toyota in Limerick Pa has been solid for me.
