2005-2010 all come with 2 plus a helper. Your truck will be eligible (not sure if 09s are covered yet) and the TSB will give you 3 plus a helper, and the result is awesome. Try the service manager or go to another dealer. Just had mine done at the local dealership (not the same dealership that I bought it from).

The service mgr doesnt know what he's talking about!
    your understanding is correct!
Most service managers do have to get it approved through their regional rep, but has been approved for many 2009's as you have seen here.
The 2009's got an upgraded bumpstop, but 08's and 09's have the same leaf springs,(2 springs and 1 helper spring)which is why the 09's have gotten the '08 TSB approved for 3 leafs and 1 helper.

    A few.
Another question on the spring tsb if I may? I noticed that Toytec now sells an AAL to be used WITH the upgraded tsb springs. A few years ago, I installed the Standard Alcan AAL that Toytec sells and that raised the rear 2.5".

If you would install the softer AAL from Toytec to the standard 3 leaf pak that is supposed to raise the rear 1.5", wouldn't that basically be the same as having the 4 leaf tsb springs installed as far as amount of lift?

I have no experience with Toytec, but i believe it would be similar.
