i was reading up on this tsb for the pedal squeak. when these bushings start to fail, will it also cause side to side movement in the pedal? i noticed in the in the freeplay part of the pedal, it has some play side to side as well. i was wondering if thats also a sign of those bushings going bad.

and for those ofyou that have had this service done, i know its free under 36K, roughly what does this job cost? my truck just hit 41K miles so its not gonna be free for me.

I’m in the same boat. I’m at 45K and they said that it wouldn’t be fixed under the tsb. I love Toyota, but seriously if you have a reoccurring issue then fix it. But it shouldn’t be on our dime.
