TSS Malfunction

I need help. I installed the trd grill with the tss garnish/sensor. I used the washer hack and got no tss error. After one week, my dash is lit up like Christmas because of the tss error. I’ve tried 1-3 washers and the tss error refuses to go away. Anyone experienced this and what did you do?

 

Im out of the loop, what’s a washer hack? I have a faux pro grille I got for $100 with installed TSS and didn’t do anything special to make it work.

did you try it with no washers. I also have a pro style grill and have had no issues and did not add any washers when mounting the sensor to the grill
