so I have a 2019 off road that I put the pro grill on so far I haven't had any issues with my TSS but just for safety sake I want to seal it up myself because I don't think I qualify for the recall. basically my question is what type of material are you guys using to seal off the sensor?

Go to the dealer, do the recall. The issue is with the sensor itself, not how well you mounted it. If anything goes wrong in the future and you fail to do the recall but they see it's been tampered with, it will be on your dime.

Ok, then I misunderstood the question. But I see that you want to do preventative maintenance. If so, there is no reason to. Let it be.

Yes correct I wanted to put something around the sensors just in case. Since the wires are kind of more exposed in the pro grill versus the offroad

Just leave it be. You have a warranty on the truck. That's like saying you should put some more weather strip around the window to make sure it stays sealed. You'll be fine. Go drive the darn thing.

Mine looked like rubber sealer tape. But that's not the only part to the recall. They also did a software update. Just put your old grill back on. Do the recall, then swap it back.
