    The Hilo harbor..isnt that the Wailoa stream? The river runs underground and empties into the harbor(actually, the harbor is the old river mouth). Interesting though....

    Yeah, but like the scientist also said they made a mistake with the japan tsunami and called off the evacuation too early...better safe than sorry

    thats true...better safe than sorry. I didnt even talk to my parents...every tsunami he goes down to evacuate his office 50-55ft from the shoreline.
